In one night
And one morning
That seemed like forty
Days and forty nights,
The raindrops came---louder
And louder---breaking
Mountains, roofs, and
Bridges, knocking glass
Building into their
Foundations, winding
All birds and plants.
Storms
Open the dark rooms
Of Heaven---
Everything drops out
Of clouds in buckets.
