He talks about the concept of Hazun - it is a melancholy, but not in the personal sense, not the selfish melancholy of the egoist but the depthless kind, the kind inspired by the soul. May be you misunderstand your vulnerability for Hazun. For the poet, hüzün is the smoky window between him and the world. A spiritual anguish we feel because we can't be close enough. I feel it often. I hope I'm not boring you.
Sometimes I wake up in the morning and I feel that my friends are not my friends anymore and I feel the same way - abandoned and alone. We have to choose between cruel laughter and calm acceptance or a possible liebitzian optimism.

I love the way you've captured huzun, melancholy, feeling alone, through the pictures of your friends (I assume) and a party. Lovely, lovely photos!
